The farm and family
Tall Trees Glamping came from a shared love of our home and the beautiful countryside in which it is located. The lodges are situated in the grounds of Double House Farm, an old traditional farmhouse and our family home. We grew up helping our mum Vanessa with her beautiful holiday cottage business (Double House Farm, Holiday Cottages) also on the farm and wanted to introduce a new way for people to stay with us and experience the grounds and local area.
The lodges are located next to the small orchard that our parents planted when we first came to the property and you'll find everything from cider and cooking apples to pears.
We searched for the perfect glamping accommodation and when we found canvas lodges we knew they were perfect. As young children we lived in Kenya and Jono was born in Nairobi. The lodges remind us of the excitement and adventure of a safari, bringing a little bit of Africa to the Somerset home we love.
